How your result is calculated
- GPA = Σ (grade point value × units) ÷ Σ units over all courses in your academic career, calculated to three decimal points.
- Students in more than one program, or who change programs, receive one GPA based on all units completed in their academic career.
- Fails (N, NCN, WN) count with 0 grade points; courses graded pass/fail are not included.
- Courses graded as part of a series (KU or IP) count once the final course in the series has a final grade.
- Not calculated for research programs, the MBBS, the MChD or the Graduate Diploma of Legal Practice; pre-1994 grades are not included.
- Unresolved interim grades (such as DA or RP) become NCN at the end of the following semester.
