- Grades come from the total of CIE and SEE marks expressed as a percentage; if a course has no SEE, CIE marks alone decide the grade.
- A course is passed with grade P (4 points) or better: at least 40% of the total, with at least 35% in the SEE and at least 40% in the CIE.
- SGPA = Σ(credits × grade points) ÷ Σ credits for the semester's courses.
- CGPA = Σ(semester credits × SGPA) ÷ Σ semester credits.
- SGPA and CGPA are rounded off to 2 decimal places.
- DX credits are not included in CGPA.
- A course is passed only with a grade point of 4 or more.
- SGPA counts every course of the semester, including courses graded F (0 points).
- CGPA counts all courses except those still graded F up to that semester.
