Rules the calculator follows
  • Grade D is the pass grade for theory papers; grade C is the pass grade for practicals, sessionals, projects, seminars and viva-voce.
  • A failed paper (grade F, below 37) carries 2 grade points, not 0; grades M (malpractice) and S (absent) carry 0.
  • A CGPA of at least 6.0 is needed for the degree.
  • BPUT awards no class or division at semester or degree level.

How is BPUT SGPA calculated?

SGPA is the average of your grade points weighted by credits: multiply each course's credits by the grade point for your grade, add these up, and divide by the total credits. Under Academic Regulation (B.Tech., B.Pharm., B.Arch., MCA), O carries 10 grade points on a 10-point scale.

How is BPUT CGPA calculated?

CGPA is the average of the grade points of all courses taken so far, weighted by credits.

How do I convert BPUT CGPA to percentage?
