How your result is calculated
- GPA = sum of (grade points × credit hours of each course) ÷ total credit hours attempted.
- The Term GPA includes only the courses attempted in one term; the Cumulative GPA includes all courses attempted while registered in a level of study.
- If a course has been repeated, only the highest grade is included in the GPA. A passed course may be repeated only with the department's permission and earns no additional credit.
- F, FM and INC carry 0.00 grade points. FM (Marginal Failure) is available only in Engineering, Health Professions and Commerce.
- W, ILL, P, TR, Pending, MT, CR and NCR are GPA-neutral. Transfer credits on admission count as credits without grade points.
- D is a marginal pass, except in programs where a minimum grade of C or C+ is required.
