How your result is calculated
- Grade point average = total grade points earned ÷ credits attempted; only courses graded A+, A, A-, B+, B, B-, C+, C, D and F count as credits attempted.
- When a course is repeated, the GPA and CGPA use only the grade from the last attempt; grades from all attempts are shown on the grade report.
- A course passed with a grade below B may be repeated to improve it; the previous grade is then cancelled. A failed course may be repeated at most twice.
- An Incomplete (I) is given only to a student who has completed everything except the final examination; it becomes an F if not made up within three weeks of the start of the next semester.
- A CGPA of at least 2.00 is required for good academic standing; a CGPA or GPA below 2.00 places the student on probation.
