- Mark bands are printed to one decimal: O 96.0–100, A+ 86.0–95.9, A 76.0–85.9, B+ 66.0–75.9, B 56.0–65.9, C 46.0–55.9, P 36.0–45.9, F below 36.0.
- A course is passed with at least 36% in each head separately: internal (continuous evaluation) and external (semester-end) — for example 18 out of 50.
- CGPA is the average of the semester SGPAs weighted by each semester's total credits.
- Mark bands are printed in whole percentages: O 90–100, A+ 80–89, A 70–79, B+ 60–69, B 55–59, C 50–54, P 40–49, F below 40.
- Domain papers need at least 40% separately in the internal assessment and in the external examination.
- Fourth-year course grades count in the SGPA and CGPA like any other course.
