How your result is calculated
- Habib University publishes letter grades and their grade points; it does not publish a marks-to-grade table.
- Quality points for a course = credit hours × the grade's points; GPA = total quality points ÷ credits.
- F and F-A (fail for low attendance) count as 0.00 in the SGPA and CGPA. W, W-A, AU, I, TR, CR, NCR and P are not counted.
- First-semester courses are graded CR (pass) or NCR (fail) and are left out of the CGPA, though their credits count towards graduation.
- A course may be taken at most three times. All attempts stay on the transcript, but only the best grade counts; the other attempts are shown as R.
- Good academic standing and graduation both require a CGPA of at least 2.33.
