How your result is calculated
- Below 50% is F (0 points) and the course must be repeated. XF (F for shortage of attendance) is not counted in the GPA.
- A course with F or W must be repeated when it is next offered. A course may also be repeated (in a summer semester or the final year, with the Head of Department's permission) to improve the CGPA; the better grade counts. This is not allowed after the transcript or degree is issued.
- W is not counted in the CGPA; withdrawing after the deadline in the academic calendar gives F.
- The CGPA is not rounded off.
- An undergraduate degree needs a CGPA of at least 2.00; a semester GPA below 2.0 leads to probation.
- Below 60% is F (0 points) and the course must be repeated.
