Punjab public medical & dental colleges merit (UHS)

MBBS/BDS session 2025-26. MBBS and BDS admissions, session 2025-26, to the public sector medical and dental colleges of Punjab, made by the University of Health Sciences (UHS) Lahore under the Government of Punjab admission policy notified on 22 October 2025. Enter each part as a percentage.

  • MDCAT 2023, 2024 or 2025 is accepted, with at least 55% for MBBS and 50% for BDS.
  • At least 60% marks in HSSC (Pre-Medical) or an IBCC-recognised equivalent are required, and a Punjab domicile is mandatory except on foreign/overseas quota seats.
  • The final percentage is rounded up to four decimal places.
  • No marks are deducted for extra HSSC attempts.
  • Ties are broken by age (older first), then higher MDCAT, then higher HSSC, then higher SSC marks.

How is the MDCAT aggregate calculated?

Matriculation / SSC / equivalent counts 10%, F.Sc. / HSSC Pre-Medical / equivalent counts 40%, MDCAT counts 50%. Each part is converted to a percentage of its maximum marks and multiplied by its weight.

Is this the official MDCAT merit?

No. OpenCGPA is independent. It applies the weights MDCAT published for MBBS/BDS session 2025-26; merit lists and closing aggregates are set by MDCAT.
