- The same grade table applies to theory, practical and project marks.
- The regulations note that results are prepared on the basis of GPA and that a fraction is to be considered as a whole number.
- GPA = Σ (course credit hours × grade point) ÷ total credit hours taken in the semester; CGPA uses the same sum over all semesters.
- A W (withdrawal within the first 6 weeks) has no impact on the CGPA; withdrawing after the 6th week gives an F, which counts in the GPA.
- An F course must be repeated, and a course graded C or below may be repeated; both grades stay on the transcript, but only the better grade is used in the CGPA.
- The minimum CGPA to complete a bachelor's degree is 2.00.
- A student who fails any course, or passes all courses with a GPA below 1.7, is placed on probation.

GPA is the average of your grade points weighted by credit hours: multiply each course's credit hours by the grade point for your grade, add these up, and divide by the total credit hours. Under Bachelor of Degree Courses Regulations 2025 and 2026, A+ carries 4 grade points on a 4-point scale.
How is MUET CGPA calculated?
CGPA is the average of the grade points of all courses taken so far, weighted by credit hours.
How do I convert MUET CGPA to percentage?
