GPA
GPA = Σ (Credit hours × Grade point) ÷ Σ Credit hours
GPA
GPA = Σ (Credit hours × Grade point) over all courses ÷ Σ Credit hours
Rules the calculator follows
  • Each subject is graded separately in its theory (external) part and its internal part, and each part carries its own credit hours (for example 3.75 + 1.25 or 3 + 1).
  • GPA = Σ (credit hours × grade point) over all theory and internal parts ÷ total credit hours.
  • A subject's final grade comes from adding the weighted grade points of its theory and internal parts and dividing by the subject's credit hours: 3.61–4.0 = A+, 3.21–3.6 = A, 2.81–3.2 = B+, 2.41–2.8 = B, 2.01–2.4 = C+, 1.61–2.0 = C, 1.6 = D, below 1.6 = NG.
  • Below 35% a part is graded NG (Not Graded), which carries no grade point.
  • A subject needs at least grade D in the theory part and grade C in the internal part; otherwise the grade sheet shows NG and the original certificate is not issued until the subject is cleared.
