  • Local-board candidates enter their HSC-I marks; A-level/12th-grade candidates enter their O-level or equivalent marks.
  • Candidates who have already completed HSC/A-Level/equivalent enter complete results and are dealt with under the policy in Chapter 4 of NED's undergraduate prospectus.
  • B.E., B.Arch. and BS (Computer Science) need at least 60% in HSC (you can apply with at least 57% in HSC-I or O-Levels, but must reach 60% in HSC to confirm admission); other BS programmes need at least 50%.

How is the NED aggregate calculated?

HSC Part I / O-level / equivalent counts 40%, NED pre-admission entry test counts 60%. Each part is converted to a percentage of its maximum marks and multiplied by its weight.

Is this the official NED merit?
