NUST undergraduate aggregate (NET basis)

NET-2027 cycle (Fall 2027 entry). Undergraduate admission to NUST on the basis of the NUST Entry Test (NET), including all engineering and computing programmes (national seats). Enter each part as a percentage.

  • Engineering and computing applicants are ranked on the NET-Engineering paper; other programme groups use their own NET paper with the same 75/10/15 weights.
  • If you take NET more than once, your best score is used.
  • The HSSC component uses your HSSC Part-I (first-year) marks; A Level, DAE or other equivalent marks can be used instead.
  • Candidates in the final year of A Level are given 25% weightage on their O Level equivalence marks from the IBCC equivalence certificate.

How is the NUST aggregate calculated?

NUST Entry Test (NET) counts 75%, SSC / O Level / equivalent counts 10%, HSSC (Part-1) / HSSC / A Level / equivalent / DAE counts 15%. Each part is converted to a percentage of its maximum marks and multiplied by its weight.

Is this the official NUST merit?

No. OpenCGPA is independent. It applies the weights NUST published for NET-2027 cycle (Fall 2027 entry); merit lists and closing aggregates are set by NUST.
