How your result is calculated
- Each mark band includes its lower limit and excludes its upper limit (for example, A+ is 75% and above but below 90%); O is 90% and above, F(RA) is below 40%.
- SGPA is computed only when the candidate has passed every theory and practical paper with at least grade D; a paper graded F is failed.
- CGPA is the credit-weighted average of the semester SGPAs; SGPA and CGPA are computed to two decimal places.
- Osmania University has no approved formula for converting CGPA to a percentage; organisations needing marks are referred to the OU Examination Branch.
