- The test component is your PIEAS written test percentile score (the percentage of applicants who scored equal to or below you), not your marks; PIEAS says it cannot be worked out from your own score alone.
- If you take more than one PIEAS BS test, the best (highest) percentile is used.
- You need at least 60% marks in SSC and in HSSC Part-I/II (or in O/A Level as per the IBCC equivalence); a failed or missed HSSC subject makes you ineligible.
- Some seats are filled separately on SAT II / ACT scores, with their own merit list.

Questions
How is the PIEAS aggregate calculated?
PIEAS written test (percentile score) counts 60%, HSSC (Part I) counts 25%, SSC counts 15%. Each part is converted to a percentage of its maximum marks and multiplied by its weight.
Is this the official PIEAS merit?
No. OpenCGPA is independent. It applies the weights PIEAS published for BS admissions 2026 (2026-2030 batch); merit lists and closing aggregates are set by PIEAS.
