Rules the calculator follows
  • The final result is the cumulative grade point average (CGPA); the CGPA at the end of the degree defines the division: 3.75 to below 4.00 First with Excellence, 3.50 to below 3.75 First with Distinction, 3.00 to below 3.50 First Division, 2.50 to below 3.00 Second Division, 2.00 to below 2.50 Pass Division.
  • A student who is Not Qualified (NQ) or absent is given I (Incomplete).
  • In the B.Pharm. programme a student must obtain at least 50% of the marks in each theory paper and 60% in practical subjects, separately, to pass each subject.
  • B.Pharm. students who fail to maintain a CGPA of 2.50 and cannot complete the course within 7 years of admission are dismissed from the programme.
