SGPA = Σ (Credits × Grade point) ÷ Σ Credits

TU's documents list the grade points but do not print the averaging formula; the calculator uses the standard credit-weighted average.

CGPA
CGPA = Σ (Semester credits × SGPA) ÷ Σ Semester credits

TU's regulation adds conditions to this average; they are listed in the rules below.

Rules the calculator follows
  • A course is passed with at least grade C (grade point 2.3).
  • SGPA = total grade points earned in the semester ÷ total credits registered in the semester.
  • CGPA = total grade points earned ÷ total credits completed.
