- The intermediate component uses your first-year (Part-I) percentage, even if you have completed intermediate.
- O/A Level applicants: ECAT 33% and 11th-class (O Level or equivalent) marks 67%. Diploma (DAE) holders: ECAT 33% and first- plus second-year marks 67%.
- A Hafiz-e-Quran can be awarded 0 to 20 additional marks by a verification committee's oral test.
- A sportsperson can have up to 10 marks added to intermediate marks after a sports test by a verification committee.
- A minimum aggregate of 50% is required to be eligible for admission.
- Applicants with equal aggregates up to four decimal places (after truncation) are treated as tied.
