  • The HSSC component uses your HSSC Part-I (first-year) marks; DAE holders use their first- and second-year marks.
  • You must take TCAT/ECAT (conducted by UET Lahore) or an equivalent test accepted by PEC and UET Taxila.
  • Engineering programmes need at least 60% in HSSC/equivalent; BS Computer Science and the Engineering Technology programmes need at least 50%.
  • NCC and Hifz-e-Quran marks count towards merit only, not towards eligibility.
  • Percentages are not rounded up to reach the eligibility minimum.

How is the UET Taxila aggregate calculated?

HSSC Part-I / DAE (1st and 2nd year) / equivalent counts 50%, TCAT / ECAT / equivalent entry test counts 33%, SSC / Matric counts 17%. Each part is converted to a percentage of its maximum marks and multiplied by its weight.

Is this the official UET Taxila merit?

No. OpenCGPA is independent. It applies the weights UET Taxila published for Fall 2026 admissions; merit lists and closing aggregates are set by UET Taxila.
