CGPA
CGPA = Σ (Credits × Grade point) over all courses ÷ Σ Credits
Percentage
% of Marks = (final CGPA − 0.5) × 10

Rules the calculator follows
  • Each mark band includes its lower limit and excludes its upper limit (for example, A+ is 80% and above but less than 90%); O is 90% and above, F is below 40%.
  • A subject is passed with grade C (5 points) or better: at least 35% in the internal and in the semester-end examination and at least 40% of the total.
  • SGPA and CGPA divide by all credits registered, so subjects graded F or Ab count with 0 grade points.
  • Mandatory courses and extra subjects beyond the 160 credits of the course structure are not counted in SGPA or CGPA.
  • SGPA and CGPA are rounded off to two decimal places.
