Questions
How is the GCU Lahore aggregate calculated?
Matriculation / O-Level counts 20%, Intermediate Part-I / A-Level / DAE (Part-I & II) counts 80% (GC University Lahore BS open-merit aggregate, Fall 2026 admissions). Each part is turned into a percentage of its total marks and multiplied by its weight. For example, 88% × 20% = 17.6, 82% × 80% = 65.6, so the aggregate is 83.20%.
What are the minimum requirements?
You need at least 50% marks in Intermediate Part-I, DAE (Year I & II) or A-Level; 45% for BFA programmes. A-Level candidates must have passed at least three subjects.
Can I enter marks instead of percentages?
Yes. Type the marks obtained and the total they are out of (for example 1015 out of 1100); the calculator turns each into a percentage before applying the weights. Leave "out of" empty to type a percentage.
Is this the official GCU Lahore merit?
No. OpenCGPA is independent. It applies the weights GCU Lahore published; merit lists and closing aggregates are set by GCU Lahore every year.
