NTU undergraduate merit (engineering programmes)

Fall 2026 admissions (Undergraduate Admission Guidebook 2026-2027). BS Textile Engineering and BS Polymer Engineering at National Textile University, Faisalabad, Fall 2026 admissions. Enter marks obtained and the total they are out of, or a percentage.

  • Merit uses your Intermediate Part-I (first-year) marks; you must still meet the eligibility minimum in your final result.
  • You need at least 60% in F.Sc (Pre-Engineering or Pre-Medical), ICS, three A Levels (Physics, Chemistry, Mathematics) with eight O Levels, a relevant DAE or an Associate Degree (Physics, Mathematics).
  • The NTU entry test has 100 one-mark MCQs with no negative marking. Instead you can submit an NTS (NAT), HEC-ETC, ECAT, NUST entry test or (foreign applicants) SAT-II score, normalized as obtained marks / total marks x 100.

Questions

How is the NTU aggregate calculated?

Matric counts 15%, Intermediate Part-I counts 50%, Entry Test counts 35% (NTU undergraduate merit (engineering programmes), Fall 2026 admissions (Undergraduate Admission Guidebook 2026-2027)). Each part is turned into a percentage of its total marks and multiplied by its weight. For example, 88% × 15% = 13.2, 82% × 50% = 41, 76% × 35% = 26.6, so the aggregate is 80.80%.

Which formulas does this calculator include?

NTU undergraduate merit (engineering programmes) (Matric 15%, Intermediate Part-I 50%, Entry Test 35%); NTU undergraduate merit (engineering technology programmes) (Intermediate Part-I 70%, Entry Test 30%); NTU undergraduate merit (computer science programmes and BS Data Analytics) (Matric 10%, Intermediate Part-I 60%, Entry Test 30%); NTU undergraduate merit (design programmes) (Matric 35%, Intermediate Part-I 65%). Pick yours above; each is cited to the body that publishes it.

What are the minimum requirements?

Merit uses your Intermediate Part-I (first-year) marks; you must still meet the eligibility minimum in your final result. You need at least 60% in F.Sc (Pre-Engineering or Pre-Medical), ICS, three A Levels (Physics, Chemistry, Mathematics) with eight O Levels, a relevant DAE or an Associate Degree (Physics, Mathematics). You need at least 50% in F.Sc Pre-Engineering, F.Sc Pre-Medical, ICS, three A Levels (Physics, Chemistry, Mathematics) with eight O Levels, or a relevant DAE. You need at least 50% in Intermediate or equivalent with Mathematics as an elective subject; Pre-Medical students can be admitted with deficiency courses.

Can I enter marks instead of percentages?

Yes. Type the marks obtained and the total they are out of (for example 1015 out of 1100); the calculator turns each into a percentage before applying the weights. Leave "out of" empty to type a percentage.

Is this the official NTU merit?

No. OpenCGPA is independent. It applies the weights each admitting body published; merit lists and closing aggregates are set by them every year.
